Choate co-sponsored Learning to Lead: A New World Perspective for In-House Counsel hosted by the Association of Corporate Counsel America’s Northeast Chapter.  

This annual event explored the many components of responsible leadership for today’s in-house attorney, including:

• processes that maximize the effectiveness of the legal department while helping to guide the structure and direction of the company as a whole
• leadership styles
• team responsiveness
• the role of ethics in strong leadership
• social entrepreneurship and leadership development through service in developing countries and disadvantaged communities

Charles Johnson, chair of the Business & Technology Group, spoke at the conference.  Mr. Johnson's speech was titled “A New Perspective on Leadership.”
