Choate sponsored a half-day program at the BIO IP Counsels Committee Fall Conference and Meeting, where Eric Marandett, chair of the Intellectual Property Litigation Group, and Brenda Jarrell, PhD, chair of the Life Sciences and Intellectual Property Groups, each moderated a panel.

Mr. Marandett moderated the panel "Written Description: Where Are We Post-Ariad?," and Dr. Jarrell moderated the panel "Inside the USPTO: Practical Tips for Getting Your Patent Through."

BIO IPCC serves in-house legal and IP professionals in the biotechnology industry, providing attendees with an opportunity to explore significant current and projected topics in the field.
