Choate hosted and sponsored the French Chambers of Commerce and Industry’s CAP North America event, a seminar for French foreign trade advisors.  Choate lawyer Jonathan Gabriel presented “Navigating Across the Atlantic: US Subsidiaries – Structuring and International Tax Considerations,” where he outlined best practices and potential pitfalls for French companies establishing a subsidiary in the US.

The Chambers of Commerce and Industry act as intermediaries between private companies and public authorities at the local, regional or national levels, assisting businesses and enabling the establishment of new companies.
