Choate sponsored the 6th Annual MIT Sloan Private Equity Symposium, Finding Opportunity in Uncertainty: Investment Strategies for a New Private Equity Landscape. John Ventola, partner in Finance & Restructuring, and Lee Feldman, partner in Private Equity, presented at the symposium. Mr. Ventola served on the panel “Distressed Investing and Turnarounds,” while Mr. Feldman moderated the panel “Opportunities in the Middle Market.” Stephen Hurwitz, partner in Business & Technology, also spoke at the conference.
Approximately 300 to 400 industry professionals and MIT students attend the student-run MIT Sloan Private Equity Symposium each year. This year’s keynote speakers included:
