Choate today announced that Christine O’Connor has joined the firm as a Senior Associate in its Litigation Department, where she will continue to focus her practice in the areas of complex securities litigation, investigations and proceedings brought by government enforcement agencies, and corporate governance and officer and director liability.
Prior to joining Choate, Ms. O’Connor was an Associate in the Securities and Government Enforcement Practice Group at Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP. She also represents boards of directors in conducting internal corporate investigations and providing corporate governance advice.
“This is an important lateral hire for Choate as we continue to focus on adding top talent to our firm’s nationally known core practice areas. Christine will be a great addition to our highly respected business and securities litigation team, and we are very excited to have her on board,” said William Gelnaw and John Nadas, Co-Managing Partners.
