The ARIAS-US 2011 Spring Conference focused on current and potential future trends in the world of reinsurance disputes and arbitration.

Choate partner and co-chair of the Insurance & Reinsurance Group, David Attisani, spoke at the panel titled “Controlling Discovery – What Works and What Doesn’t.”  The panel explored techniques for proactive management of discovery, including serious planning by counsel before the Organizational Meeting, setting early issue-spotting or issue-narrowing depositions and cost-shifting during the arbitration.
