Michael Gass, practice group leader in securities litigation, was featured in Law360’s “Q&A” column, a regular section in which attorneys at the top of their fields are asked a series of standard questions about both their own practices and the state of their practice areas.

Mr. Gass spoke on a range of securities litigation, antitrust and compliance issues.  He commented on the effects of the subprime meltdown, auction rate securities, securitized debt obligations and credit default swaps on securities litigation and the need for reform in such areas.  He also recounted his representation of MIT in an action brought by the Antitrust Division of the DOJ challenging MIT’s financial aid practices, and he predicted continued demand for special committee representation and internal investigations in our post-Enron world.
