Anne Warren joined the firm in 2007.  While attending law school, Ms. Warren was a staff member of the Boston University Public Interest Law Journal.  She received the Dean’s Award for the highest grade in Contracts and was a Paul J. Liacos Scholar.  After her first year of law school, Ms. Warren was a judicial intern for the Honorable Andrew M. Mead, Maine Superior Court.  After her second year of law school, she participated in Choate’s Summer Associate Program, where she worked on a broad spectrum of corporate, trust and litigation matters.

Practice Focus

Wealth Management: assist in estate planning, and trusts and estates administration, as well as researching related tax and fiduciary issues on behalf of individual clients.

General Corporate & Securities: SEC filings and compliance.

Representative Engagements

  • Drafted estate planning documents including wills, revocable trusts and nominee trusts.
  • Currently working with clients to incorporate as Massachusetts charitable corporations, to obtain tax-exempt status as public charities or private foundations and to begin operations.
  • Prepared research memorandum on “clear and convincing evidence” standard in paternity determinations.
  • Currently working with investment advisors to ensure compliance with SEC regulations.
