Kelly Donnelly advises private and public companies in numerous corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and venture capital financings.
Prior to joining Choate, Ms. Donnelly was an associate at Willkie, Farr & Gallagher in Washington, DC. During her time at Willkie, she counseled a wide array of clients in the asset management industry, including privately owned investment advisers, publicly traded asset management firms, broker dealers, insurance companies, and banks.
During law school, Ms. Donnelly completed internships with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, the Boston Celtics, and the Boston Red Sox. Prior to law school, she was a Vice President and Product Manager at ConvergEx Group.
Private Equity: represents funds of all types in aspects of capital raising and acquisitions of target companies.
Business & Technology: represents public and private companies in a variety of industries in mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance issues, venture capital equity financings and general corporate work.
Professional and Community Involvement
Ms. Donnelly is the Class of 2005 Communications Chair for the Brown University Alumni Association and volunteers as an admissions interviewer.
