Douglas Gooding co-wrote “1st Circ. Injects Uncertainty Into Stay Relief Denials” in Bankruptcy Law360, where he discusses Pinpoint IT Services LLC v. Rivera and the First Circuit’s decision that a bankruptcy court order denying a request for relief from the automatic stay to continue certain prepetition litigation was not “final” under 28 USC § 158(d)(1), and accordingly dismissed the appeal for lack of jurisdiction.  This also appeared in the Appellate and Technology sections of Law360.
