PitchBook Recognizes Choate Among the “Most Active Law Firms” Globally for Private Equity in 2013

Choate ranked among the top “Most Active Law Firms” worldwide for private equity in PitchBook’s “PE & VC Global League Table Report,” with a total of 29 private equity deals completed in 2013.  PitchBook’s League Table statistics measure all private equity investments that firms have advised on, including buyouts, growth equity, PIPEs, recapitalizations and add-ons.

In addition to being recognized among the top firms globally, Choate was also named among the “Most Active” PE firms for the United States, for Information Technology, Healthcare and Energy deals, and for “Other” deal types, a category that encompasses matters other than buyouts and exits. 

Choate also received top recognition from PitchBook for venture capital in 2013, ranking among the top firms globally as well as in various other regions and industries.
