Susan Yoon Parker Joins Choate as Partner

Susan Yoon Parker has joined the Firm as a partner working in the Private Equity and Finance & Restructuring Groups. She will serve in a pivotal role representing borrowers, private equity sponsors and investment funds in leveraged buyouts, debt finance, alternative investments and credit fund transactions.

For the past several years Ms. Parker has held several senior legal roles in the private equity and  financial community. Most recently she served as a Managing Director and Counsel at John Hancock Financial Services. Previously, she was Senior Counsel at the Audax Group supporting both its private equity and private debt businesses and was Senior Legal Counsel at The Boston Consulting Group where she led a variety of acquisition transactions and strategic joint ventures.

The timing couldn’t be better as Choate’s private equity group  continues to experience significant growth from both longstanding clients and significant new client additions.”

Ms. Parker began her career as an associate at Ropes & Gray where she focused on representing private equity firms and portfolio companies in general corporate matters, leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions and other direct investments.
