New England Corporate Counsel Association Conference

This Wednesday, December 7, 2016, the New England Corporate Counsel Association (NECCA) is hosting a conference on “The Ins and Outs of Corporate Investigations and Related Litigation: How to Keep the Regulators, Senior Management, and the Board of Directors Happy.” Stuart Glass put the panel together and will moderate it.  The presentation will cover the first 48 hours after learning of a potential problem, conducting an internal investigation, whether the company should self-report, how to handle related litigation while also investigating and responding to the government, and how in-house counsel or compliance officer navigates the reporting relations to legal, senior management and the board during an investigation.  Other panelists include the Chief Compliance Officer of Boston Scientific, the leader of Grant Thornton’s National Investigations Practice, and a Senior Counsel in the Enforcement Division and FCPA Unit of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
