Bridgepoint Development Capital Acquires the Construction Claims Group of Hill International

Choate as U.S. counsel, alongside UK-based Travers Smith LLP, recently represented Bridgepoint Development Capital, affiliated with UK-based private equity firm Bridgepoint, in its acquisition of the Construction Claims Group of Hill International in a $140 million all-cash transaction.

Bridgepoint is a major international private equity group with more than $14.7 billion of committed capital focused on investing in market-leading businesses. Its middle-market affiliate Bridgepoint Development Capital is a dedicated team focused on buyouts and growth capital investments, typically in businesses that have the potential for value creation through organic growth, acquisitions and operational improvement.

The Choate team advising Bridgepoint Development Capital included Christian Atwood and Rebecca Wilsker (private equity), John Ventola and Rachel Connors (finance), and Louis Marett and Emily Cusick (tax).
