Four Lawyers Recognized

Choate announced today that four attorneys from the firm have been named to the elite “Top Massachusetts Super Lawyers” lists for attaining the highest level of recognition and professional achievement in the state for 2010.  Diana K. Lloyd, co-chair of Choate’s Government Enforcement & Compliance Group, and Christine G. Savage, chair of Choate’s Healthcare Group, were selected for inclusion in the “Top 50 Women Massachusetts Super Lawyers” list.  Jack Cinquegrana, co-chair of Choate’s Litigation Department and Government Enforcement & Compliance Group, and Robert S. Frank, Jr., a Choate partner, were named to the “Top 100 Massachusetts Super Lawyers” list.  Attorneys that are chosen for the “Top Super Lawyers” lists received the highest point totals in the rankings.

Diana K. Lloyd has over 20 years of experience in federal and state government enforcement matters, internal investigations and related business and securities litigation.  Her practice at Choate involves federal and state government enforcement and compliance matters, internal investigations and related business and securities litigation.  In addition to representing companies and individuals involved in government or internal corporate investigations, she handles complex financial and securities litigation and represents clients before the SEC and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.  Ms. Lloyd serves on Choate’s Operating Committee and Associates Committee.  She is the immediate past co-chair of the Boston Bar Association’s Criminal Law Section.  Ms. Lloyd received her MA and JD from New York University.  She received her BA, Valedictorian, summa cum laude, from St. Lawrence University.

Christine G. Savage has an active practice representing hospitals, hospices and alternative service providers in handling complex compliance and regulatory matters.  She works closely with private equity and venture capital firms seeking to develop, invest in or acquire healthcare companies.  She also has significant white collar defense experience in government healthcare investigations, including cases brought under the False Claims Act and Federal anti-kickback laws.  Ms. Savage is a member of Choate’s Executive Committee.  She has served as a community representative on the Partners Human Subjects Research Committee since 2002.  She received her JD, cum laude, from Harvard Law School and her BS, cum laude, Harry S. Truman Scholar, from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Jack Cinquegrana is a veteran trial lawyer with over 25 years of experience in litigation and government enforcement matters.  Mr. Cinquegrana represents companies and individuals in civil and criminal litigation, and in investigations involving government agencies.  He is a member of Choate’s Executive Committee and a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers.  He was appointed by the Supreme Judicial Court in 2009 to serve on the Committee for Public Counsel Services, which oversees the provision of legal representation to indigent persons in criminal and civil cases in Massachusetts.  He received his JD from Boston College Law School and his BA from Cornell University. 

Robert S. Frank, Jr. focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, insurance and reinsurance, antitrust, life sciences and technology.  A litigator with over 40 years of experience, he has been lead counsel in some of the biggest cases in the United States, including successfully representing Eastman Kodak in what was then the largest patent infringement case in history.  Mr. Frank is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the American Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association.  He received his LLB, cum laude, from Harvard Law School and his AB, cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Bowdoin College.
