Greg Keating was Quoted in The Recorder

The Recorder

 | March 9, 2017

Gregory Keating, chairman of the Labor Employment and Benefits and Whistleblower Defense Groups, was recently quoted in The Recorder, "Ruling 2-1, Ninth Circuit Adopts Broad Whistleblower Definition." A divided panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit found that the whistleblower provisions of the Dodd-Frank Act apply to employees who raise concerns about potentially unlawful activity internally, not just those who make reports directly to regulators.

"The issue will almost certainly reach the Supreme Court and be resolved short of some sort of legislative amendment to Dodd-Frank to clarify what the Congress meant." - Greg Keating
