Thomas Shirley, Practice Group Leader in labor, employment & benefits, is featured in GC New England magazine for his participation in the GC New England Roundtable Series 2009.  A transcription of the roundtable discussion, “Employment Law: A Changing Practice,” was published in the most recent issue of GC.  In the article, five noted employment law practitioners share their differing perspectives on how the economy combined with the Obama administration’s agenda might affect a range of employment issues, including: layoffs and resulting litigation, the Employee Free Choice Act and the Independent Contractors Proper Classification Act.
