Stefano A. Sharma
Stefano Sharma works with clients to assess and navigate transaction-related antitrust risk. He represents a wide array of clients across industries to analyze whether their transactions require Hart-Scott-Rodino filings, and to prepare and submit HSR filings where they are required. Stefano has advocated on behalf of clients before the Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Justice in connection with transactions and investigations. He also counsels on transaction-related antitrust issues such as diligence, pre-closing conduct, information sharing, non-compete agreements, interlocking directorates, and competitor collaboration.
Stefano additionally assists Choate’s Private Equity and M&A clients with CFIUS analysis and with the Corporate Transparency Act.
Stefano began his career as a litigator and represented clients of Choate’s Litigation Department on disputes involving antitrust laws, breach of contract, trade secret misappropriation, employment laws, and the False Claims Act.
