
Edward Saad
Edward Saad has over 20 years of experience advising on the tax and structuring aspects of domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, and fund formation and related transactions. Prior to joining Choate in 2021, he was an international tax partner at PwC, where he advised large Private Equity, Real Estate, and Credit sponsors and their portfolio companies on a broad range of cross-border M&A transactions and fund structuring. He also served as SVP of Tax Structuring at Harvard’s endowment, where he built out a new internal structuring role for Harvard’s direct investment platform, as well as advising on Harvard’s fund investments. Before Harvard, he practiced tax law at an international Wall St. law firm in New York and London, where he advised large Private Equity sponsors, multinational companies and investment banks, and sovereign wealth funds on a broad range of M&A transactions, cross-border structuring and tax planning, and capital markets transactions.
