Jacob P. Chaas

Jacob Chaas represents banks, non-bank lenders, and other financial institutions in a range of complex financial transactions, and has experience working with clients across a variety of industries.

Throughout law school, Jacob worked as a legal research assistant for LexisNexis, where he collaborated with Professor Stephen Yale-Loehr to update Immigration Law and Procedure, the 21-volume flagship immigration treatise, and also wrote and edited the annual casebook supplement for Immigration and Nationality Law: Problems and Strategies.

  • Leading international bank as administrative agent and lender in connection with a $100 million senior secured asset-based credit facility for a privately-held regional retailer.
  • Represented leading international bank as administrative agent, for a syndicate of lenders, in connection with a restructuring of a $365 million senior secured asset-based credit facility to hardware and home goods retailer.
  • Represented Agent in a $175 million syndicated ABL working capital and acquisition facility for a whiskey distiller
