Private Equity Women Host Reception at Kayo Conference
The women of Choate’s Private Equity group hosted an evening reception at the Fosters Pavilion of the Boston Harbor Hotel following the first day of the Kayo Women’s Private Equity Summit. Kayo is an annual two-day conference which brings together 300 of the nation’s leading women in private equity, venture capital and M&A for networking, deal-making and professional development.
Choate and industry colleagues gathered to eat sweet treats provided by Flour Bakery and to hear Joanne Chang, James Beard award winner and chef-owner of Flour, speak about her career path and experience as a woman in a male-dominated industry. Guests also took a culinary quiz with questions about Joanne’s life, and the three top scorers received goodie bags filled with Flour-related items.
