Absorb Software Acquires eLogic Learning and Torch LMS in Cross-Border Transactions

Choate recently advised Absorb Software, an Alberta-based portfolio company of Silversmith Capital Partners, in its cross-border acquisitions of Tampa-based Learning Management System (LMS) eLogic Learning (July 2019), and Torch LMS, a Utah-based SaaS LMS provider (May 2019). The transactions strengthen Absorb’s emerging US & Global leadership in the rapidly growing field of LMS.

Building on the success of the eLogic and Torch acquisitions, Absorb anticipates additional acquisitions in the coming quarters.
