BV Investment Partners Makes Strategic Investment in Hero K12

Choate recently represented BV Investment Partners, LP and its portfolio company Hero K12, LLC in the acquisition of SchoolMint Inc. 

SchoolMint Inc. is a San Francisco-based developer of a mobile and web-based platform that helps parents and school districts manage the school application and enrollment process. SchoolMint's technology currently serves more than 2 million students across more than 6,000 schools.  SchoolMint's clients include some of the nation's largest school districts such as Chicago Public Schools and Cleveland Metropolitan School District.  Hero collects data that allows schools to replace traditional discipline policies with initiatives that emphasize and recognize positive behaviors.
