Choate Represents Underwriting Syndicate in $300m Public Note Offering by Eversource Energy

Choate recently represented the underwriters, led by Mizuho Securities USA LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, MUFG Securities Americas Inc., and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, in a $300,000,000 public offering reopening a series of first mortgage bonds by The Connecticut Light & Power Company, doing business as Eversource Energy.

This is the fifth transaction Choate has served as designated underwriters’ counsel for Eversource Energy and its subsidiaries during the past year.
