Choate Represents Underwriting Syndicate in $400m Public Offering by Eversource Energy

Choate recently represented the underwriters, led by Barclays Capital Inc., BofA Securities, Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and TD Securities (USA) LLC, in a $400M public offering of green debentures by NSTAR Electric Company, doing business as Eversource Energy. The net proceeds will be used to refinance prior investments in “Eligible Green Expenditures” such as renewable energy and energy efficiency initiatives.

Choate serves as designated underwriters’ counsel for Eversource Energy and its subsidiaries.
