Dan Riley Speaking at 2024 ABA International Law Section Annual Conference

Dan Riley will be speaking on the panel, "Deal Making in the Emerging Markets—Balancing the Risks and Rewards," at the American Bar Association (ABA) International Law Section Annual Conference on May 8, 2024. 

The panel will discuss deal making strategies for emerging markets, recognizing regulatory systems differences, mechanisms for contract enforcement, institutional infrastructure and cultural differences, and strategies that multinational companies and global investors have implemented to succeed in new markets. The panel will also talk about the increasing internationalization of legal structures in emerging markets, and balancing compliance with local constraints with the benefits of a local presence.
