Danielle Pelot Appointed to the Massachusetts Judicial Nominating Commission
This summer, Danielle Pelot was appointed to serve on the Massachusetts Judicial Nominating Commission (“JNC”).
Re-established in 2023 by Massachusetts Governor Maura Healy, the JNC is a non-partisan, non-political, Commission composed of 27 distinguished volunteers appointed by the Governor from a cross-section of the Commonwealth. The Commissioners review candidates for judicial vacancies in the Commonwealth’s court system based on experience, integrity, work ethic, judgment, and commitment to equality and impartiality. The JNC seeks to ensure the judicial candidate pool represents the diversity of the communities they serve, including geography, race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability and economic status.
