Dr. Brenda Herschbach Jarrell Recognized as a 2022 Top Woman in IP

Dr. Brenda Herschbach Jarrell has been named one of the Top 250 Women in IP for 2022 by Managing Intellectual Property’s IP STARS. This special publication recognizes female practitioners in private practice who have performed exceptionally for their clients and firms in the past year.

An IP lawyer with keen business savvy, Dr. Jarrell’s extensive technical credentials make her well versed in a wide variety of technologies in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and specialty chemical industries. Dr. Jarrell has experience representing companies and institutions at all stages of the life sciences business lifecycle, and has advised multiple clients from Series A through their eventual IPOs.

Dr. Jarrell received her JD, cum laude, from Harvard Law School and her PhD from the University of California, San Francisco in biochemistry and molecular biology. She received an MA and a BA in chemistry, magna cum laude, from Harvard University.

 Dr. Jarrell was selected to the list based upon the 2022 rankings of IP STARS. The research over the past year included thousands of interviews and surveys by IP partners and law firms across the globe. The most prominent female attorneys identified through the process make up the Top 250 Women in IP.
