Dr. Brenda Herschbach Jarrell to Speak at ACI's Life Sciences IP Due Diligence Conference

Dr. Brenda Herschbach Jarrell, Co-Chair of Choate’s Intellectual Property and Life Sciences Groups, will moderate the panel “The Best Things in Life are NOT Free: Assessing the Intricacies of Deal-Related IP Valuation” at the ACI’s 2nd Annual Summit on Life Sciences IP Due Diligence on Friday, November 30. The panel will discuss building a perspective on goals and risks from both sides of the table, evaluating and differentiating between critical and manageable risks, and assessing valuation models and adjusting for value drivers such as: regulatory exclusivities, pending legislation, follow-on development, and competing IP. The other panelists include representatives from Charles River Associates, the Office of the President at the University of California, and Jounce Therapeutics.
