Dr. Brenda Herschbach Jarrell to Speak at IPIC Webinar

Dr. Brenda Herschbach Jarrell, Practice Group Leader of the Life Sciences & Intellectual Property Groups, will be a panelist at the webinar “The Current Situation of Life Sciences Patent Eligibility in Canada, US and Europe” for the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada on Tuesday, October 30th. The topics of the webinar include subject matter patentability in the areas of genes/natural products, higher life forms, method of medical treatment, dosage regimens, pharmaceutical formulations and diagnostic methods, in their respective jurisdictions. Dr. Jarrell will be the US representative on the panel, and the Canadian and European panelists include experts from Fasken Martineau Dumoulin LLP, J A Kemp, and Bereskin & Parr LLP.
