Dr. Brenda Herschbach Jarrell to Speak at LabCentral

Dr. Brenda Herschbach Jarrell, Co-Chair of Choate’s Intellectual Property and Life Sciences Groups, will speak on the panel “Tips from the Trenches: Demystifying Today’s Top Legal and Finance Challenges for Biotech Start-Ups” at LabCentral on Tuesday, February 26. The panel will discuss the importance of getting organized and incorporated early with key accounting/tax and legal considerations, how to protect and strengthen your core intellectual property assets at the beginning of the company’s life and beyond, and how to “tell your story” by defining yourself in the commercial space. Also on the panel are representatives from MassBio, Danforth Advisors, and Gunderson Dettmer.
