Jen Fenn Honored as Leader in Finance Industry

Recognized by her colleagues and peers for excellence in the finance industry, Jen Fenn was selected as one of the Secured Finance Network’s 40 Under 40. One of only a handful of legal professionals chosen for this honor, this award underscores Jen’s status as one of the best and brightest rising stars in secured finance.

A recognized leader both in and out of the office, Jen stands out among her peers for her commitment to community and mentorship. Her passion for connecting and advancing women within the finance and legal communities is reflected in the various substantive client development programs she spearheads on behalf of the firm, which have included a regular training series on credit agreements, intercreditor agreements, and a bankruptcy primer, as well as “next-gen” events centered on market trends. Jen serves as both a formal and informal mentor to associates and finance industry colleagues and is an active member of the Choate Women’s Network steering committee and Choate’s alumni committee.

Jen’s practice focuses on the representation of lenders in a broad range of complex financing transactions for both banks and institutional investors. A well-rounded lawyer with the ability to execute the full lifecycle of a variety of deal structures, Jen has a particular specialty in asset-based transactions involving the retail space and has been involved in a number of high-profile bankruptcy cases, including Payless Shoes, Lands’ End, and J. Crew.
