Jennifer Fenn Elected Partner in Finance & Restructuring Practice

Jennifer Conway Fenn has been elected to partner in the Firm’s finance and restructuring practice, effective January 1, 2019.

As a partner, Jennifer will continue to focus her practice on the representation of lenders in a broad range of financing transactions, particularly complex financial transactions for banks and institutional investors, including asset-based and cash flow financings as well as mezzanine loans and other junior capital investments with a focus on the retail market.

Beyond her client work, Jennifer has become well known for her commitment to advancing women within the financial community. She launched Choate’s “Uncork and Unwind” initiative, which started as a series of events focused on women in the industry, and has since evolved to include, among other things, a formal mentoring program where Jennifer has connected female leaders at Choate and across banks, funds and lenders with each other to help encourage the advancement of women within the industry. She is also a member of the steering committee for Choate’s firm-wide women’s leadership initiative, The Choate Women’s Network.

She received her J.D. from The University of Connecticut School of Law in 2006 and her B.A., cum laude, from Lafayette College in 2003.
