Miba AG Acquires Division of John Crane Group

Choate represented Miba AG in its acquisition of the Industrial Bearings division of John Crane Group, a subsidiary of Smiths Group plc. Miba, a family-owned industrial manufacturing company based in Laakirchen, Austria, is one of the leading global suppliers of engine bearings.

This acquisition, which adds four new plants to Miba's 27 existing production sites worldwide, will allow the company to expand its product portfolio to cover both engine and industrial bearings.
