Stuart Glass on the Vitality of the Newman Decision

Stuart Glass was quoted in “Newman Doesn’t Spell Doom for Tipping Cases,” in Appellate Law360, where he discusses a recent decision by the Manhattan federal appeals court.  In the ruling, the court took steps to fine-tune the Newman Standard, which experts have bemoaned for not more clearly defining the personal benefit standard.  He also explains why he believes the Newman Decision will have continuing vitality.
