Pagos Closes $34M Series A Funding

Choate represented Pagos Solutions, Inc., a payment intelligence company, in its $34M Series A funding round led by Arbor Ventures, with participation from Point 72 Ventures, Infinity Ventures and Underscore VC. Pagos was founded in 2021 by payment experts Klas Bäck, Albert Drouart and Dan Blomberg. CEO Bäck and Drouart held senior leadership positions at Braintree/Venmo and PayPal over the last eight to nine years, and Blomberg has launched several successful startups over the last two decades. Pagos intends to use the funds to expand its engineering team and advance the platform’s enterprise product suite (Parrot, Peacock, Canary, Toucan, and Loon).
