Rolando Medina is moderating and Stephanie Schonewald is speaking on the panel, "Policy direction- where are we now?" at LSPN North America on Tuesday, May 6th.

The panel will begin at 9:10 a.m. and will discuss the current policy landscape and the complex challenges facing life sciences patent stakeholders in 2025. The session brings together leading experts to analyze intersecting policy challenges and their implications for life sciences innovation and patent strategy, including the Inflation Reduction Act’s drug pricing provisions and ongoing concerns about inconsistent patent examination quality at the USPTO, raising questions about whether recent policy shifts reflect an increasingly anti-patent sentiment in Washington.
