Sara Frank Receives 2023 Lawyers Clearinghouse Pro Bono Excellence Award

Sara Frank is the recipient of the 2023 Lawyers Clearinghouse Pro Bono Excellence Award for her ongoing dedication as a volunteer and clinic coordinator.

Sara began volunteering for Lawyers Clearinghouse in 2015, when she joined Choate as an associate. Since then, she has co-managed the firm’s Legal Clinic involvement, and helps oversee Choate volunteers and their pro bono cases, in addition to meeting with and assisting clients herself.

Sara provides legal and compliance advice to companies and individuals, most often based on Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, HIPAA, and Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act concerns, primarily in the life sciences sector. Through gaining knowledge and insight while working as the U.S. Compliance Officer for one of the oldest independent biotech companies in the world, she is a valuable contributor to complex investigations and a trusted advisor in times of critical decision-making for clients.
