As Chairman of the Committee for Public Counsel Services, Jack Cinquegrana was quoted in "Low Pay Blamed for High Turnover Among Public Defenders" and "Prosecutors, Public Defenders Need a Pay Hike" in The Boston Globe, where he discusses the findings of a report issued by the Governor’s Commission to study the compensation of assistant district attorneys and staff attorneys.  Within these articles, he comments on the issue of high turnover rates among newly hired public defenders and assistant district attorneys due to low salaries, and the impact this has on the budget and the ability of Massachusetts residents to gain justice.
