Choate Representative Engagement

 | October 13, 2016

Choate recently represented Silversmith Capital Partners in connection with its $20 million growth equity investment in ActiveCampaign, a leader in intelligence-driven marketing & sales automation. The company plans to use the capital to aggressively pursue innovations in customer lifecycle marketing and predictive modeling to automatically detect, predict, and solve business challenges.

The Choate team advising Silversmith Capital Partners was led by counsel Rees Hawkins (private equity) and included partners Brian Lenihan (private equity), Christian Atwood (private equity) and Timothy Becker (tax) and associate Ryan DeSisto.

The ActiveCampaign acquisition marked the fourth investment that Choate has closed for Silversmith Capital Partners in the last few months, following on the success of growth equity investments in Centauri Health Solutions (closed May 2016), Impact Radius (closed June 2016), and Digital Maps Products (closed September 2016).
