Choate sponsored the BIO IP Counsels Committee Conference from November 14-16, 2018. Michael Bunis moderated and Kristen Buteau was a panelist at the session “Raising the Stakes in Patent Cases,” which discussed several recent important cases and their impact on the life sciences community. Anita Spieth moderated the session “Trade Secrets: an Evolving Landscape,” which discussed recent happenings in trade secret law, including a national uptick in trade secret litigation, important US cases from the past year, and international perspectives on trade secret litigation.
