Christine Savage Speaking on Research Security at NCURA Conference

Christine Savage will speak on a research security panel at the National Counsel of University Research Administrator's (NCURA) Pre-Award Research Administration Conference on Thursday, March 21, 2024.

The panel, "The View from Outside: Consultant and Counsel Perspective on the Latest Regulations, Enforcement Climate, and Emerging Best Practices," is scheduled to take place at 1:00 p.m. and will provide an update on Research Security from the perspective of outside advisors and counsel (consultants and attorneys) on the most recent Research Security regulatory and enforcement landscape. This includes a review of the Office of Science and Technology Policy's National Science and Technology Council research security program requirements, the Department of Defense Memorandum Policy for Risk-Based Security Reviews of Fundamental Research, takeaways for research administration and compliance officials at universities, and new requirements from the Department of Energy.
