Choate represented Long Ridge Equity Partners as lead investor in a $30.4M Series B funding round in Proof Technologies, a company that offers an app that streamlines service of process and e-filing. The company plans to use the new funding to integrate e-filing more seamlessly with its service-of-process capabilities, expand the number of case management platforms with which it integrates, and expand its AI capabilities, specifically by leveraging the technology to automate the preparation of court documents for court filing. Also participating in the round were Blue Heron Capital and The LegalTech Fund.
