Spectrum Equity Expands Partnership with Verafin

Choate represented Spectrum Equity in the recent equity financing provided to Canadian financial crime management software company, Verafin. The company completed a C$515 million equity and debt recapitalization, which represents one of the largest ever growth financings of a Canadian software business. The new equity financing was provided by Spectrum’s current investing fund, as well as Information Venture Partners’ new fund . The recapitalization will allow Verafin to aggressively pursue its growth plan while remaining an independent company.
