Transformation Capital Partners Joins $70M Series C Investment in LetsGetChecked

Choate represented Transformation Capital Partners as it joined new investors Illumina Ventures, HLM Ventures, Deerfield Management, CommonFund Ventures and Angeles Investment Advisors in the Series C financing of LetsGetChecked, which provides diagnostic home health kits. Previous investors Optum Ventures and Qiming Venture Partners also participated. Choate also represented Transformation Capital as the lead investor in the company’s Series B investment last year.

The company recently announced a two-part test for coronavirus, which includes a rapid blood test that can detect an active infection, and a lab test which will confirm results within several days. This latest round of funding will help support increased manufacturing, supply and testing for COVID-19, as well as scaling up laboratory capacity and expanding business operations in the United States and Europe.
