Katherine B. Aoki

Katherine Aoki works with clients in Choate’s Litigation Department.

Before joining Choate, Kate clerked for the Honorable Catherine R. Connors on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. While in law school, Kate served as a law clerk at the Office of the Attorney General for the State of California’s Department of Justice in the Worker Rights and Fair Labor Section. She was a student practitioner at the Family and Domestic Violence Law Clinic of the Legal Services Center. Prior to graduate school, she was Managing Director of an academic research nonprofit seeking to foster innovative social science research on topics including economic inequality, regulatory capture, national security threat assessment, and American democracy.
