Seth Davis is a Partner in Choate’s Litigation and Investigations group. He represents corporations and individuals in connection with their most challenging litigation and investigative matters. Seth has experience handling a wide range of disputes, including antitrust, environmental, toxic tort, product liability, fraud, trade secret, and contract matters, as well as criminal and regulatory proceedings.

In addition to his litigation experience, Seth routinely represents clients in connection with investigations conducted by the Department of Justice, the SEC, and other federal and state enforcement agencies. He advises public and private companies and individuals facing government scrutiny, internal investigations, and related enforcement matters. Prior to entering private practice, Seth served as an Assistant District Attorney in the New York County District Attorney’s Office, where he worked in both the Trial Division and Appeals Bureau.

  • Represented an international bank in litigation involving civil RICO claims related to allegedly fraudulent tax shelters.
  • Represented an international chemical manufacturer in class actions, product liability litigation, and trade secret disputes.
  • Represented the president and CEO of a mutual fund in a securities enforcement matter involving alleged market timing.
