Sheron Korpus is a Partner in Choate’s Litigation and Investigations group and Co-Head of the Business and Financial Litigation Practice. As a first-chair trial lawyer whom clients trust to handle their most challenging matters, he represents a wide range of clients in connection with complex commercial disputes. He has tried cases in federal and state courts, as well as before arbitration panels, across the United States, including matters involving commercial, financial, securities, antitrust, bankruptcy, and intellectual property disputes.

In addition to his trial experience, Sheron routinely represents clients in high-stakes business litigation and other complex commercial controversies. He litigates matters across a broad range of industries and has extensive experience handling multibillion-dollar disputes involving financial institutions, public and private companies, investment firms, and life sciences businesses. Sheron also regularly advises clients in connection with bankruptcy-related litigation, securities matters, antitrust disputes, and other sophisticated business conflicts.

  • Representing Teva Pharmaceuticals and certain directors and officers in one of the largest securities class actions in recent history and related direct actions.
  • Representing Teva Pharmaceuticals and Actavis in multidistrict antitrust litigation alleging price-fixing of generic drugs and related litigation brought by 48 Attorneys General.
  • Represented Comcast Corporation in antitrust class actions that resulted in a landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision overturning class certification.
  • Represented Loreley Financing in claims against major financial institutions involving structured finance products, securing multiple appellate victories.
  • Representing DigitalBridge Group and BrightSpire Capital in litigation arising from the Century Plaza development project in Los Angeles.
  • Representing the developer and operator of the American Dream mall in federal and state claims brought by its former junior mezzanine lender.
  • Represented Air New Zealand in the Air Cargo Shipping Services Antitrust Litigation.
  • Represented a private equity firm in an arbitration against a former partner, obtaining dismissal of a $50 million claim and prevailing on counterclaims.
  • Represented creditors, trustees, debtors, and other parties in significant bankruptcy proceedings, including the Avianca Airlines, Tribune Company, Enron, and Mirant bankruptcies.
