Katherine Toth

Katherine Toth works with individuals, families, and private foundations to provide a wide range of philanthropic and administrative services. She advises a number of foundations at various points in their lifecycles--from creation to wind-down--and through periods of growth or transition. She helps philanthropists and foundations draft mission and vision statements, develop and execute against strategic plans, and create impact assessments. She manages day-to-day foundation operations ranging from researching new ideas to operating open grant programs, soliciting proposals, monitoring cash flow, budgeting, and closing programs. Kate also advises multigenerational families on meaningful engagement with the next generation of family philanthropy. Additionally, she provides broad family office support by administering trusts, custodian accounts, and IRAs for high-net worth individuals and families.

Prior to joining Choate, Kate worked for five years as a program officer at a private foundation.
