Bryana McGillycuddy Speaking on ANDA Litigation at the IP Watchdog Life Sciences Masters

Bryana McGillycuddy will be a panelist for the session, "ANDA Litigation: Current Trends and Best Practices" at the IP Watchdog 2023 Life Sciences Masters Conference on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

The panel, which takes place at 10:15 a.m. at the IP Watchdog Studios in Ashburn, Virgina, will examine current trends in ANDA litigation, and best practices for dealing with those trends and issues. Among the specific items to be discussed, the panel will address: (1) Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ patents covering a method of distributing Xyrem being de-listed from the Orange Book because the patent’s claims are directed to a method of distributing a drug and not a method of using or administering a drug; and (2) How a patent owner and generic can settle an ANDA case without being charged with an anti-trust violation.
